redoing the SRX suspension

well this will be my second season snowmobiling, and with the SRX. I was good and took everyones advice and left it alone and concertrated on riding.

Now its time to dig in and do some upgrades. I have already purchased a m10 air in 121 for the rear (but I have been asked by a neighbor to order him one) so i might sell it to him and get a zx2. I am also looking at purchasing Pioneers SRX wide front end.

If i remember right the sled still has under 2700 miles on it. Anything else you guys recommend? Everything is stock on it currently.

Out here we tend to have have alot non snow weather so during down time i ordered the new skid. I do the same with my summer toys when its wintertime.


and besides its cheaper to upgrade a already awsome sled then to go out and pay 10g on a new one.

this is what i'd recommend
1 clean carbs (find out where your jetting is @ while youre in there)
2 clean and adjust powervalves
3 find out what your clutching is, if it's stock it's more than likely over-reving and wasting that power, reclutch to 8400rpm best bang for the buck
as far as the skid that's preference i'd rather have the zx2 than the m10 but it depends on your riding style

fogged her all up at the end of last season will do on cleaning PV's and carbs. Jetting and Clutch are bone stock as i knew the previous owner who did nothing other then take it out for a few weeks and cover it back up.

I see that there are a ton of different clutch set ups on here but does anyone have one that will work best with a m10 or zx2. Im really swaying towards selling the neighbor the m10 and using the money and getting the zx2. I pretty sure the ride hight is about the same with both thos skids.

sold the m10 and my front ohlins about to order the zx2 and pioneers wide kit next week. Man im pumped.

and we got our first dusting of slush last night.
