guna b running a set of aaen pipes just wondering what head i should run. might put a set of reeds in it to. what about jetting. clutching is all stock as well any pointers

I would add a rear heat exchanger, and ethier mega power or srx heads for extra safety or get your stock head machined to 24cc across there are also other good heads out there.

as for jetting and clutching I would do a search around here there is tons of setups im sure.

144viper, what is the elevation that you are going to be running at and what temps? stock head does work w/those pipes, but you need hauck opti-cool head gasket and added rear heat exchanger. if you run a aftermarket head or like srx heads, that would be the better route. if i was running like srx heads, i wouldn't use the opti-cool head gasket then, just resort to the stock viper head gasket.

elevation

im from sask its about 2000 ft i dont think i will ne :2strokes: :2strokes: ed the extra cooler buddy of mine is building some tunnels and his own coolers should have plenty of coolent. also guna run a artic cat skid all i got now is a 99 121 from a zl dont know if i will use that or not would like to find a new 141. what about the race logic sport port any one have any luck with that. oh and one more graphic kits, cant find any for the viper. thanks guys

what is the cooldest temps you plan on riding in? need to know that, before i suggest jetting starting point. i've used race logic templates before and they do work. thing to remember tho when using them, is just because you have newly traced out lines, of where to cut the new ports to, you can still "F" up a cylinder, if you don't cut the ports right, don't chamfer the ports properly, and if you chip/flake the nicassil. also, having the proper foredom and cc specialties' tools, will make life a lot easier. also, the correct cutters for each operation always helps. some bits like to chip nicassil, while others don't. also, the templates are only as accurate as to how well and accurately you set them in cylinder, before tracing the outlines of new port edges.
