Just curious as anyone tried the Heelclicker red spring with any other weights such as 8BU-00 or others

:letitsnow Thanks Andy :letitsnow

If the red HC springs goes bad do they make replacments for the spring or can I order a ski-doo spring with the same engagment load and slightly higher finish rate like a 230-380 Pink/white or Pink/Pink 230-350

ski-doo forces are measured @ different heights/points than the heel clicker springs i'm sure. just buy a new red heel clicker spring from randy nouis @ super torquer. easy enough to do.

Skidoo spring is a different diameter & does not fit well.

i have red hc springs & live in manitoba. I can deliver to winnipeg this Tuesday nite.I will be in the peg for sales meetings. If you need other primary springs I have a wack of em.

Turk, I live 1 hour north of Dauphin in Camperville. How long do these springs last Because I bought this kit from Bluemonster1 and we all know how much he tested this kit......LOL...to me it seems like the red spring was shorter than the grey one.

I still don't think I cleared the problem on the sled there is still a slight bog when hitting the throttle, haven't bought a new belt yet.

I think the problem is in the powervalves I probally didn't adjust them right but I did notice that #1 cable had some frayed cable at the valve and the #2 valve is just about pulling through, the only good PV is the #3 no fraying no pull through. When do these actually kick is right at take off or mid range or top end

when I had the carbs off I cleaned and double cleaned them and also checked the reeds, are they supposed to be open slightly or close tight I also have fuel spraying back in the airbox

You need to turn out your fuel screws. The hc,s load the motor so hard if your lean in the pilot circuit they have a slight lean bog. It can drive ya nutz sometimes. I had a piped ported 700 red head that drove me bonkers trying to eliminate that slight bog.

I have them fuel screws at 2 and the bog is still there, So I treid removing weight from the tip of the HC went back to the first setup I had and the bog seem to disapear can I even go 2 1/8 or more

Im not very good when it comes to clutches, but could you maybe trying to get away with having too much weight in the heel?Ive read alot of post on how to tune H/C,And a common point i have seen is to load up the heel till it bogs and then take a bit of weight off. Just something to try. Good luck.

Thats what I did but I actually put one more washer on the heel and took one big washer out and put the smaller bolt with one washer in the tip now it pulls like it did before without the bog but I did go up to 2 turns in the fuel screws

Good to hear you found the problem,I have 45 pilots in carbs with 1 1/2 turns out. Those H/C were very addictive to me,i couldnt for the life of me stop trying to tune them. LOL!!!! Have fun!! i did, making my friends wonder "WHAT THE HELL" There must be something wrong with my machine!!! HA HA HA LOL. Heard that one alot. Tune Tune Tune and youll find a great setup. Good Luck>

so, your bog is gone w/stock 42.5 pilots and 2 turns out? if so, then leave it. i've gone out as far as 2-1/2 and 2-3/4 turns out and never had a fuel screw fall out. don't go that far tho. just saying how far out i've gone and never lost a screw. i personally wouldn't go more than 2-1/4. if your bog still isn't gone @ 2 turns out and stock 42.5 pilots, then put in some 45 pilots and set fuel screws @ 1-1/2 turns out and richen from there if still need to be. the heel clickers are loading the motor like turk told you. just need to richen the bottom end a little more.

Thanks Guys again but now I found another problem I need 2 powervalves that need repair they are pretty close to being a pull through problem and one cable that has a couple wires broken off the tip
