Any tricks to this, or just take out the bolt and pull? Are there torque specs for the install?
Thanks,
Bob

It should slide right off the shaft. Not sure on the torque specs, just tighten it with a ratchet w/ the parking break on and it should be fine.

I just get the bolt real snug with the parking brake on. I don't think I get to 46 ft/lbs either!

I've seen the results of not having it tight enough and it is not good. Of course I don't have any idea of how tight that was because it was "just snug with a wrench" according to the unfortunate sledder. 46 ft/lbs is about half of what the average man can do with a normal size 1/2 inch ratchet.

Hey Brad, no need to get your panties in a knot...if the average guy can torque over 46 ft/lbs by just using the strength of his arms, I think everyone on here is fine. No need to go on the offensive...good for you, I for one am glad you have a manual that tells you all these things. Just chill, man...

While I have not see the clutch leave the sled I have seen clutch parts, namly a broken off tower on an AC clutch, and the aftermath is not pretty. I think good enough is to much a guess.
Thanks to bringing the actual reading to our attention. I'll go and re-do mine as soon as I borrow back my torque wrench.
