So I started to replace my slp ultra lite skis and its not going well. I first loosened the nut and bolt which holds the ski"bracket" to the trailing arm, the one that allows the ski to rock back and forth...well that bolt must be siezed in there..so i picked the sled up and popped the rivets out from under the skis.
After I removed a ski, I noticed the bottom of the mounting plate, was rusted, bad!!!
I really don't want to go 100mph with those rusted, not sure if my ski is going to stay on...
What plastic ski do you all reccomend, money is a factor in this project. Otherwise anybody have some ultra lite mounting plates?

I have a pair of stock SXR skis that im looking to get rid of (possibly) PM if interested. they WILL NOT come with carbides.
Otherwise C&A ADX (which i picked up) run for about $125-175 used.
