How do I remove a ski from the trailing arm? Can I loosen the nut and bolt on top of the trailing arm "tube" area?

if i understand your question, there should be a bolt on the saddle of your ski, right below the spindle (tube) take that bolt out and done, one ski off.

each of those bolts on each ski are siezed in mine, won't come out...Not sure what to do next..?

I think its the column?..that goes into the trailing arm?
Any ideas?
Thanks

No, the collar(or whatever the official name is) is likely frozen/rusted to the ski bolt, item #10.

You can remove the steering arm at the top of the spindle and the ski and spindle will drop right out the bottom to work at it on the bench. Be aware of the washer #23 in case the bushing #22 falls out of the trailing arm, if it doesn't come out with the spindle.

Your bolt is rusted in the collar like they say. You'll have to just beat the hell out of it or grind head and nut off to get ski off. Then you can beat the collar out of spindle.I've had a really stubborn also....good luck with it.

Update: Well, I got both spindles off the sled, one bolt I was able to pound out...The other bolt I'm going to have to grind. Thanks all!!

I just used alot of rust check, A LOT of it, it did come out but I needed a new bolt for the ski, from pounding on it for so long, and when it did come out, the bushing that the bolt slides in through wa seized om the bolt, so I used an Acetylene torch and got it blood red and cooled it quickly, came out like nothing.
