hey all. i just got a 94 600 vmax on a trade. it had a box of parts with it. one in particular is some kind of steering component. i cant remember the proper name. it goes from the engine bay, through the rubber boots on both sides out to the skis. previouse owner ran this in the mountains only. is there a good reason he would have removed these? is there an advantage to removing?

Sounds like removed the sway bar. I beleive it reduces darting when removed, but you lose stability with it removed, I would put it back on just get better carbides/skis for it to resolve the darting issue.
I could be wrong on the reason for removal.
