Tony, I might be wrong on this (can't check either - I'm offshore and my files are at home), but didn't one of the Dynotech articles find that some of the other single pipes worked well on the SX if you switched to the regular EX y-pipe?

HELLO ANGUS, HOPE ALL IS WELL BUD. YES YOUR CORRECT ON THE SINGLE PIPES. WHEN EVERYTHING WAS CHANGED TO THE STANDARD EXCITER Y PIPE AND PERFORMANCE PIPE, THERE WAS NICE GAINS. BUT WHATS IN QUESTION ABOVE IS THE TWINS. PSI MADE THE BEST TWINS FOR THE SX ENGINE AND IF YOU LOOK AT THOSE DYNO PULLS, ALL THE TWINS WERE BUILT FOR THAT MOTOR. not to say this stuff won,t work 3:16 (yammie tony)

I gottcha Tony. Just posted for general info - trying to find a pair of twins especially for the SX could be tough these days - especially if you're in Norway!

Your right`CLASSICSRX. Nearly impossible to find something. But did find a new seat cover today.
But the rest is discontinued, so a hard way to go: Shall wish for xmas, a bender/reichard/decker single pipe or psi twin pipe for my SX :-)

Tony, any idea how well a set of GYT twins from a '94-'96 Vmax 600 would work on an SX? The bore and stroke have got to be close - is the porting that much different? Have seen a couple pairs in the classified lately...

Did buy a Decker single pipe today, did see at dynotech about it: Long Y and exciter II pipes worked good together.
So just need some clutch info if someone will share with me..
