2001 srx 700 temp light

my 2001 srx 700 temp light blinks 3 times when you start it then goes off start it , it goes blink blink blink then its off... is this normal??
ive only seen it blink on other time once it was running...

thats normal should blink 3 times on start up to let you know all systems good
