I just had to put this on here because I need to laugh abit at my buddies. We run races here every year and all my buddies have sleds except for me but now that I have my SRX my buddies are getting worried, I asked for help on other forums for my brothers 02 700 Polaris and woke it up pretty dam good as this was the test mule, after some work to the clutches it was the sled to beat for awhile, It ran ski for ski to an 05 F7 for 550 ft and then the F7 gets him by 1/2 ski in 660 snow. We went to just about every race there was in Manitoba except for the northern ones and there was an SRX running the drags and let me tell this sled was fast and mean fast it beat out a turbo attack in 660ft. the owner said it was mildly trail ported but who knows, so here the funny part all my friends are running to the dealers to get more go fast parts for their sleds and telling them that they want to keep up to 140 horse sled. the one guy even traded his 08 600ho sdi for the 2010 600ho sdi xrs the dealer told not to worry anymore

Here are the other sleds

02 700 polaris stock with clutching
00 600 formula z stock with clutching
00 700 mxz stock with clutching
05 F7 bored .30 over and clutching
?? F1000 30 shot NOS
04 switchback 700 polaris stock with clutching from someone that knows polaris
04 RMK 600 same as above same owner 2 sleds
98 XC 700 old racer from back in the day who knows his stuff
98 FIII 600 LT somebody that thinks he knows LOL
96 FIII 600 has 3 times more money in this sled than he paid for and still is not that fast but can still do a full 660ft catwalk

I'll keep posting and let you know how the SRX does this winter. It's you guy's help that make these sleds fast Thanks for helping me scare the Competion :letitsnow :letitsnow :2strokes: :yam: :yrules:

There was something really wrong with that turbo apex. It should be beating an SRX by about 330' in 660' I owned 4 srx,s & 2 turbo yammies.
 
awesome!... cant wait to take my new srx out!...

Just bought another today!

its set up mostly for trail though since it has raised 1" front shocks with viper rear shocks... but has a port and polish with a few other things... got told its prob around 150 hp now... got radared at 118 mph but said it got there quick... let me know how you turn out this winter! i got a few f7's mxz's and couple other sleds.... and they all called me a dumb *** for buying another srx since my 00 blew up on me due to crapy maintenancy on the 1st owner


The srx I have right now was previously owned by BenderSRX

His RX1 looks killer though... def would love to see that sled in action in person

Traction was the problem, He didn't have picks he was running a paddle track at some of the races he went to with that Attack the sled was still pilling snow at the start of the track and he was at half track LOL talk about track spin :letitsnow

He still shoulda killed the srx even with out studs. I know that attak & the guy driving it when that happened was doing brake starts & smokin the belt bad on takeoff.
Run against a front mount with a driver that has a clue & even with out studs the turbo will be at the finish line while the srx is at 1/2 track.
 
haha yea... you got no idea how much i cant wait!... especialy since my 00 srx was not running 100% from the day i bought it... and everyone that tried it said it pulled like a soab...

so when I try this one im probably going to crap my pants...

haha yea im sure ill have a blast...
 
I waited 2 yrs before i bought my sled and now my wife gets mad at me for rippin the lawn up

Just make sure you don't open your mouth to wide you'll speed up the crapping thing........LMAO :letitsnow :letitsnow
