I bought a 151 skid this week end and I forgot to ask the guy what year sled it came off of. It has Fox shocks. I think its a 01 or 02. I plan on putting in my 98 srx. Whats the skid called a edge,m10,xtra 10 or ? thanks
Do you have a picture of it?

Thanks. At least I have a idea what it is. The hyfax need replaced. Plus the measurements to install it in the srx.

With allthe idea's. I looked up ronniesmailorder.com. A 01 RMK skid looks just like mine. Hopefully it is a good skid. I only paid $100.00 for it.
i have your measurements if you need them.

I dont plan on doing the swap until next month to many irons in the fire right now. Whenever you want to post them Thanks Scott.
here you go, get the info while its at the shop. rail stamp 1453-02, looks just like the skid in your pic, compare rail #s for accuracy. points are from top of inside tunnel down, and center to center back. drive shaft(you cant alter this one) 6 1/8" down. drive to front arm= 12", down 5 7/8. front arm to rear arm 28 1/2", down 7 3/8. sled will be here for a bit, so inquire further if you need to. +or- 1/8. sitting on the ground, near dark, with a droplight, but fairly confident in the numbers. drive axle is a bit less in diameter than our yamahas, may need to confirm that one. damn polaris been here all summer, not leaving anytime soon unless someone gets rich.

rail stamp #2733-01
check with a polaris dealer or maybe some microfische online for compatability. skid looks identical. although this one has rail extensions. may have been a 144?

Well I went to the winter knights snow show today hoping to find a 01 or 02 polaris with a 151 track. Wouldnt you know not one was there to take some more measurements off of. From what I see after looking at the online micro-fiche is that where the rear torque arm bolts to the rail is that the 151 is farther back on the rail then the 144. About 2 3/8". Also as the skid sits out of the sled the measurement from the front mount to the rear mount is 31" center to center. Going to start replacing the bent and broken parts from my little tree incident last May tomorrow.

I think your rails will be just fine. Powdercoating shouldn't get the rails to a high enough temp to affect the Aluminum in any way. They were fine on the VMax Rage 600 for the two seasons I had it. (link in sig if you want to know what it is)
