haha nope. but I do trust what a good majority of what I read on this site. and why should I keep buying the expensive yamalube if there is something AS equal or better for a little more money or less?

I didn't even know yamalube was expensive.
Yamalube costs TWICE AS MUCH as TEXACO HAVOLINE 2 stroke oil (same stuff) or CITGO sea and snow ( also same stuff)... There are a DOZEN OTHER BRANDS that are the SAME STUFF as YAMALUBE for varied prices...
I just can't get enough of this stuff....

I love that in the 20 years of riding that I have done, the one true fight still seems to be on what type of oil to use. I think it is a better fight starter then the type of sled you ride. lol.

OK NOSBOY, I'll ask another way. What oil are you using in your Vipers? Mine smokes pretty good using Yamalube. I'd be curious to try Klotz or amsoil. Yeah, yeah, I know, you won't use amsoil.nosboy said:I wouldn't use AMSOIL even if you gave it to me for FREE!!!!

as is Klots red line and anyother full synthetic oil.
I love reading these things about oil . I tried Amsoil once and couldn't wait till it was gone . 250 miles and my valves looked like they come out of a batchplant . Never looked like that with the Yamalube . Besides I bought a couple cases of it back in 04 when the oil prices started to go up . So I am set for a while .

Synthetic oil handles heat better than non-synthetic oil, so it seems like a good idea to use synthetic oil in these machines.SneekySnake said:I love reading these things about oil . Others have said the reverse about the Power Valves. Did you use Amsoil Interceptor? It specifically says:
"Helps prevents hard carbon deposits that cause exhaust power valve sticking and ring sticking.".
Assuming I believe everything I read.
