i would think thats a good price as long as the cable slots are in good shape, you're @ less than half of a new, half of new is my general starting point on any used part in average condition. my .02

I paid $165cdn for a new one..what a ripoff. Like staggs65 said, if the cable slot is good, go for it.

To say the trooth... im not overly worried about the slot... though I woulnt pay that much for 3 pulled through valves.... just the ones I got right now.... the protective coating is wearing off... the valves themselves i have are rought around the edges (getting mishaped) I can just bring in the valves and get them filled in... then drill a new hole/ slot for the cord....
^^^^^thats what I'm getting done right now to my powervalves haven't got them back yet, can't wait

Are you installing a screw? or just getting a fill in weld?
Im not sure what I would want to be done comepletely...
Cause I could do the screw mod myself.... and i got a welder down the road that can prob do it for real cheap

to me the stainless bolt method seems like it would end any pull throughs, of course you have to keep everything clean as usual or you'll damage cables or servo instead

Yea.... im going to get into the habbit of cleaning them every 1000 km's
Just got to get a method down....
Some people do it with the 2.5mm alen key and my servo is already marked where its in the "open" position
Thats how I did my 00 srx.... seemed to work... but wouldnt entirely know if i did it 100%

that's how i do mine, but i think this year i'm going to set em my normal way then reach in the exhaust port and see just how close to each other and close to flush they actually are, should be getting mine out of storage next week and going through things, i'll post the outcome
anybody have a picture of the tool you can make up for setting the PV's

Yea would be great to see a tool people rigged up to check them!...
Yea bendersrx ( guy i bought the sled off of) told me to do that but also take the headers off the exhaust and check with my hand up there to make sure they are good....

Yea you want to make sure they are fully opened... so flush with the head so there are no obstrutcions.... when the servo does pull them to the open position... when its on the closed... make sure they are fully closing...

Here are the links to my PV pics... let me know if they are ok to use or not... the one thing you cant notice is the light riples the surface has.... barely noticable or able to feel them... but still there.... you can also notice the edges are not in the greatest shape along with the protective coating on them is wearing off

they look a little rough to me, but i guess as long as the slide in and out smoothly they'd be ok, i'm guessing your still cleaning though?
