double layer is taking the inner layer out , a sinlge layer is using one of the outside layers only. That help??

I agree on the 8AB's they work well in alot of applications. The best yammie weight I used in a stock 700 sx was the original 89A, not a 10. Had to use a 4 gram rivet with I think a 48-42. This would work well in a 600 also with lesser weight.

89l's work very well in the 600 with the green secondary spring set between 60-80 degrees.
