ok im missing 1 cliop on my entire track its the only thing wrong with it... do i worry about it or not? and if so where do i get a clip and do i need a tool to clip it ? or maybe when i ride i can stop at a dealer is this something they can just do quickly???

NO, YES, YES, THAT WOULD BE NICE OF THEM. Sorry just late night humor. 1 clip not a big deal. You can get a clip from your local dealer and you do need a tool. I'm sure your dealer would loan you the tool or do it for you if their cool. The dealers hrer lend them out for loan.
If you are missing 1 clip, then many of the others are likely to follow. They get worn and weak and come out. I would carefully inspect several of them to see if they are worn down. For what some dealers charge you to put new clips in, you can get a new track that comes with clips installed. A newer track (the right one) will make it seem like a new sled.
So if the others are not worn very much, or you are really tight on cash, just replace the 1 clip, or run it without. If enough of them are worn, consider clipping the whole thing or replacing the track. Sell the old one for $100 - $150 and be in about the same place cost wise, but with a new track.

Only one is no big deal...On my 96' V-MAX i'm missing 5 in a row!!!! Noticed it after a big weekend up in Michigan... Getting a used one from Mussleman on here.. This is a great place to shop for whatever you need or any questions that you may have....
