Hey guy just bought a 98 srx 700 that needs a new cylinder. I was just wondering if 2000 Cylinders would work on a 98? If not whats different?

2000 cylinders will fit and work on your '98, but you can't run like 1 '98 cylinder w/2 '00 cylinders and vice versa, cause the porting is different. all 3 cylinders need to be of the same year. i have 3 '98 cylinders here for sale. if you choose to run '00 cylinders on your '98, then i would suggest '00-'02 heads, or your trapped compression will be too low.
