About 30 Miles in the steep and deep... I get about 100 on a tank on a nice flat trail....

I had one all trail ride several years ago, there just wasn't enough snow to get off the trail, and got something like 11.5mpg. This was before I put the flo-rites in. My normal riding, which is small amount of trail to get to good boondocking and hill climbing, I'm getting a very consistant 6.1mpg. This is lots of wide open runs in the powder, mostly hill climbing.

i get anywhere from 9-10 mpg.
Sounds like someone is trying to talk themself into putting tripples on... IF you do, and after you get the tuning done, you will probbably NOT go back to stock as the pipes make the sled SO MUCH more fun! T
stock 10 mpg on a good day trail riding. pipes 7 mpg on a good day trail riding. hard ditch riding or off trail it only gets worse.

WOW...I LOVE my stock piped, small amount of clutch work, Ripsaw tracked with edge suspension Viper. Getting 15-16 MPG helps alot also...
The clutch work got the best increase in milage.

when mine was stock, i never got any better than 11mpg. you must be driving that thing like a sissy, to get 15mpg....LOL.
Even if I get a few less MPG's, I would never go back to single pipe. My sled with SLP's and Peak head has been just as reliable as when it was stock......

LOL... originally mine got in the 10-12 mpg range also. Adding weight to the stock weights and changing the helix made a HUGE improvement.
As for the sissy comment...

As for the sissy comment...I don't ride as slow as my wife, but I don't ride like a snow-x wanna be either. I do ride groomed trails....Have been know to do an 800 mile weekend here and there.

Hey, pipdviper, how do you know yours is 160+ HP????? That is awesome, but I always heard that sort of HP was out of reach with out porting or major engine displacement enhancement..........
I've done about everything outside of porting or increasing engine cc's and I figure mine is mid to high 140's for HP........
