Pulled the track today to replace a ground down driver. Track looked beautiful when I bought it, and I looked it over as much I could to see if there was anything wrong. Well, when i pulled it today I found a 3" slice in the middle of the track :o| So anyways now that I have to replace it, I wanted to upgrade to a 1.25" Ripsaw or other brand as Ive heard Itll be a night and day difference in traction. Just wanted to ask the experts here if that lug size track will fit? Im planning on studding the track also, so will I need a protector on the front heat exchanger? Will I need to put in taller protectors then the factory ones on the tunnel? Different gearing? Im sure the clutching will need to be changed.

I suggest going with a 1.063" Camoplast Ice Attak. It's a 1" Hacksaw with 240 pre-molded lug studs. There's also a 1.25" Ice Ripper, it's a Ripsaw with the 240 lug studs.
You won't have to change the gearing.
