I have an 77 exciter 440 FULL mod that I am wanting to know if the ignition on these are limited with RPM in any way? I am hearing from others that spinning these motors 8500-9000 may have limits from the iginitions??

Also is there much difference from say a SRX iginition in the same time era VS the stock exicter stuff.. I thought it was all pretty close. THX

so they are different, do you know of any issues with the exciter ignition doing its job for those kind of RPM'S???
 
exciter used same style ignition as the GPX's, full mod gpx's turn those rpm, shouldn't be a problem...
