my bender installation sheets call for 147.5 pto, 147.5 center, and 150 mag on your '98.

hey josh, do you have benders specs for 00, mine are 150 across right now, but the pto piston was a little light on wash, was gonna try 152.5,

jeff, you can try 151.3 or 152.5 in pto and leave the others alone. how's the wash in the center and mag cylinders?

yeah was only going to change pto, center and mag look good, on the safe side but with todays gas i'd rather run a little further from the ragged edge than in the past

i've heard far too many horror stories, to even want to try it. i'll never use one. didn't even want to try one out, even before i heard the horror stories.

what is your elevation, cause a trail srx won't live on that jetting here where i live. you would have to be in 30+ deg weather. 145 in a sx-r sounds right, but not in a srx.

i live in north eastern adirondacks in NY. It had 147.5 stock and clutch side 150. I have 145 in it now..

Higher elevation would require less fuel and therefore smaller jets.

your a little rich. pull the plugs and check out the piston wash. are there other mods done to the sled (besides cold air kit), to necessitate the need for the richer jetting?

ryan... the higher the elevation the thinner air is... but also sharper/ colder... the higher the elevation the higher the jets...
You don't really think that thinner air is going to require more fuel do you?
Don't remember what I used last time out(have to consult the notebook), but when my sled was stock I ran 142.5 at home and 130's when we went out west. Drop the mains, drop the needles, raise the pilots when going from the flatlands to the hills.

No, Ryan is right, higher the elevation the lower the jets.
