SRX length

Hi, I was wondering how long a SRX is- From the tip of the skis- as if it were up against a wall to the end of the track- I want to know if it will fit on a 4x8 trailer
 
The bed of my truck is 8 feet long and with the ski's hitting the front, the track has about a 5 or 6 inch overhang. I know it isn't a measurement but I hope it helps you out.

But in your situation the end of the sled is still on the lowered tailgate?

I think I would be Ok with 6-12" overhang off the back of a 8' trailer
 
humm i had a measured 8'4" for mine but i have rev ski's that are curled more at the top and a bit shorter i belive.

I have a 4.5x8 trailer and it wouldn't fit but my trailer I can remove the front and it makes a 4.5x10 so it worked for me.
 
8'4" sounds about right, maybe closer to 8'8" with yamaha skis, I had my SRX in the back of my truck and the whole skid was inside the bed with the tailgate closed by the end of the ride (skis curled up)

It would if I used one in the winter. Are you going to put a splash guard on the front? The sled could be moved forward a bit, so just the ski loops are hanging over. Even if you have some overhang at the back, I agree, should be ok.

I used a buddy's 4X8 trailer when I took delivery of my '01 121" SRX. It had a bit of over-hang in the rear which wasn't a big deal but there was nearly no tounge wieght.

I ended up unbolting the ski loops to get the skis under the angle iron front/side rails and pulling it forward. This was in the fall before the season so there were no issues with sheilding the front of the sled. If I was using it to haul during the season, I would've had to come up with something else.

As long as you end up with some tounge weight, any over-hang in the rear should'nt be an issue. I measured it one time and it was nearly 9ft. from the rear bumper to the ski tips.
