i got a super deal on a camoplast track for my 91 phazer 2, its 1.5. I heard that if i put 7 tooth drivers in it would fit..is this true?
7's you should be fine. 8's might clear, but it would be pretty close and a bugger to get together. I had a 1.25 with 8's. Worked real well.

If I'm reading it all correctly than this one - ADKX410850 - should work fine. The slight shaft shouldn't be a problem since they are a press fit.

thank you very much, how much will this gear down the machine?
Not completely sure as I've never figured 8's to 7's only 9's to 8's. When going from 9's to 8's the difference is 1.125. So if you were at 17/33 with 9's you be at a 1.94 ratio. Drop to 8's and it's 1.94 x 1.125 = 2.18. I'm guessing that 8's to 7's is about the same change, but might be a little different. Gives you an idea anyway.
