Hi All,

I'm replacing the track on my 96 Vmax XT and while I'm in there I'm going to go through and replace bearings in the skid, drive shaft, and jack shaft. Instead of getting raped for OEM bearing I'm going to sourcing them from a bearing house or ebay. I've search and found the two flavors of skid bearings but couldn't find the shaft bearings. Does anyone know the cross reference number for these? If I can't find them I'll pull them and dimension them to find them. I've seen the smaller skid wheel bearings selling for $23ish each at some dealers when you can get 10 for under $20 shipped.

What I've found so far, search fodder for the archives:

Description/dimention/yammi p/n/cross referenced p/n/quantity

Large wheel skid bearing, 20mm x 47mm x 14mm, 93306-20469-00, 6204, (x3)

Small wheel skid bearing, 20mm x 42mm x 12mm, 93306-00444-00, 6004, (x10)

Drive-shaft secondary side, 22mmx52mmx15mm, 93306-27206, 62/22-2RS, (x1)

Drive-shaft chain case side, 25mmx52mmx15mm, 93306-20570-00, 6205, (x1, 2 total)

Jack-shaft chain case inside, 25mmx52mmx15mm, 93306-20570-00, 6205, (x1, 2 total)

Jack-shaft secondary side, 25mmx52mmx15mm, 93306-20582-00, 6205-2RS, (x1)

Jack-shaft chain case outside, 22mmx52mmx15mm, 93306-20427-00, 62/22, (x1)

If anything is incorrect, not needed, or additional bearings needed, please correct me and I'll update accordingly.

Bamboozler, I wish I could help with the cross reference but what I can do is get you bearing really cheap and they are pretty good, let me know if you want me to pick some up for ya.

Hey Cole, Thanks for the offer and I might have to shoot you a PM. After turkey and hunting weekend I'll be digging into the sled and seeing what's there in order to fill in some of the '?'. I'm thinking they are all standard industrial types. I'll contact you and see what you can do, you're well close enough!.

Thanks again.

Bumping this, chart is complete.

Cole, total spaced when buying bearings, I forgot your offer until I ran across a thread in the general discussion where you were selling them. Next skid bearing purchase I'll see what you can do.

Few notes, the 2RS denotes a sealed bearing (from what I gathered). You could order three sealed bearings for the three 6205-2RSs and pop the seals off two of them for the chain case if the straight up 6205 weren't available (or leave the seals on?).

All in all I got all 19 bearings (adding a 4th 7" wheel in the back on the pro action) with -40 degree grease for under $100 shipped.

im looking for some seals for my 94 chaincase with reverse. anybody know the seal sizes for the following seal part numbers:

93102-35191-00 seal
93102-25081-00 seal
93102-22014-00 seal

want to try to find local to avoid growing old waiting to get them thru the dealer.

cole how quick and how much can you ship me two pieces of the 62/22-2rs bearing ?

Nice but I just sold 25 bearings shipped via UPS to MN for 65 i believe....but next time!

Blk04700- I can check tomorrow at work and get back to you but should be fairly cheap for just 2 bearings.

let me know , sounds like you get them on the cheap , figure a dozen 6004's also.

Rub it in why don't ya...:) What is really annoying is the fact that I still don't have my bearings, they're stuck in a USPS truck or sorting cart somewhere.... So while the trails are open I'm stuck on a computer typing this..

Sounds like you have a good hook up, as I noted I'll be contacting you next time!
