I wanted to replace my snowflap and decided on a blue one. It turns out that the 12.5" have been discontinued so I bought a new 16" one off of ebay. If you take your rear bumper cover and bumper off. The holes exist to use the 16" flap. It mounts high enough to give the same drop length as the stock 12.5". The problem is that the two middle holes are covered by the rear heat exchanger. There are two other holes about 1-1/2" in from the outer mounts that are useable. Just drill out new holes in your flap. The pop rivets are hidden by the bumper cover anyway so noone will ever know. It covers the aluminum previously exposed below the seat and looks completely stock.

That looks good, I like how the rivets are hidden.
How do you take the rear bumper off?

There are 2 bolts on each side inside the tunnel for the bumper cover and 2 for the bumper as well.

The longer snow flap mounted high on the aluminum plate looks terrific. I think it looks much better than the stock 12" long snow flap. The long flap allows the back of the sled to be completely blue. Looks great!! Nice work!!
Sweet! Now I know I can snag a black un' !
