got another srx today

a guy at my wife work called me today and said he wanted to sell his sled to me. he said it would not start. i got it home and cleaned the carb and fires right up. paid only 600 dollars. it has whiteskid plate v force 2 reeds 1 1/4 paddle track bender silencer maxx transfer rods teather cord brand new belt bender cold air kit c&a pro skis srx cover bender helix new in the bag carbides. could not pass it up. it has bent radius rods and needs to be cleaned good. i wll get the pipes and can powdercoated soon.

Would you take $700.00 for it? Lol, good catch, I wish I could find deals like that!
 
spent 6 hours cleaning it and fixing a bunch of things that were wrong with it. powerwased it and did the the engine comparment once over. checked valves cleaned carbs and so on. tonight i will pull the track out and check all bearings and fix the w arm and lower shaft and turn the track around. i also have to replace some front end parts and put the werabars on. it was a good deal for sure.
 
thanks guy's it is a good deal but it had a few broken parts and alot of stuff done half a%$ going through the whole sled except the motor seems good. the suspension is rough. spent the night on it will try to post some pics tommorow.

there are 6 now the new one is an 2000 . 2 98 2 99 2 00 just love em.also have a a customers 2000 srx here the barn looks like a dealership.
 
worked on it toady track is back in found rubbed wire for tach and fixed a few other things waiting on welder for w arm getting reinforced. here is a few pics of my 2000 srx it has a polaris camoplast 1 1/4 track studs need replacing will do later.

WOW. Thats alot of SRX's! Gotta love em. I love the pic with all of them in a line, looks sweet. I wish my garage looked that way! Here's a pic of my SRX.

Damn u don't stop. I have been in this garage and every ed in there is just as clean as it was when it came out of the crate. Looking good man I love all your SRX's
 
well the sled is ready for snow complete teardown and checkup in 4 days. here is some pics of pearl white powdercoat.

i just looked at a 2000 sxr 700 wrecked with a ton of extra stuff on it at a neighbors house waiting for him to call me with a price. it has been sitting for 2 years. it has reverse maxx secondary v force reeds triple pipes clean sled with a smashed bulkhead.
