holtzman comensators...

i'm looking to buy a holtzman atacc (automatic temperature and altitude carburetor compensator) for my 01 srx so i don't have to play with the jets all the time, and wondered if there would be a possible way to hook it up to 3 pod filters?

Yes you can mount it with the pods, but nobody that i have ever talked to or even heard about has had good luck running the pod filters on an srx.

did they say why they didn't have luck, or what problems occured? I thought that if i got it more air, since it is a high horsepower machine, that it would perform better as long as i had it dialed in. thanks for the info!

I have never tried it myself, but I guess it makes proper jetting nearly impossible to attain.

Yea it makes the jetting very finicky in the lower temps because the air density is so high and small changes have huge effects

well, won't the compensator compensate for those changes? thats why i was looking to get it. thanks for the info!
