Speedo not working

Im not sure what the heck here. I just took her out for the maiden voyage after the motor swap. I used the head off the '05 but a motor from an '03. The speedo worked great for the first 12 miles than just read 0mph and the odometer just stayed the same. Any thoughts??? Thanks Jess
 
The Only thing off the '03 I used is the motor (except the head, I swapped it with the '05 head) Besides that it's all stock '05 electronics.
 
I'd start with the speedo pickup, it is located below the secondary clutch. Make sure the wires are good. Test everything for continuity and there should be some sort of resistance value needed on that pickup....
