Rear Heat X-Changer Protector

How are these installed? Do i need to take the stock seat off and unriviot the rear X-changer? Ideas?

Leave the HX in place, place the protector over the HX in line with the track windows, mark the holes, drill and rivet.

Alright wasnt quite sure. Im wondering if my riviot gun will even fit up near the HX

i suppose if you couldn't get the rivet gun in there you could use locknuts, bolts

I would just remove the 2 rear suspension bolts and drop it down.That will give you room to use gun.The holes in protectors should line up with existing holes in exchanger and tunnel.Just drill those out and then install protectors with new rivets.

Does the protectors go over the window clips or the studs?
