Giving the 94 vmax sled a make over and need to replace the bent bars. Also getting a riser. Just need to know where to get the longer throttle cable and oil cable? I am good with the brakes because they are hydro.

any cables from about the 99 or newer mountain sleds will interchange, WITH MODIFICATION, and be considerably longer than your stockers. 03 mtn viper would be the longest for production cables. anything past 03 had a different cable split and wont work with your set up. and i have a pristeen set of bars for cheap if your interested.

how hard is it to replace the cables? I'm thinking about doing the same thing on my 96.
its not all that difficult. the carb cable is easiest, but the oil pump cable creates the most foul language. its a little tricky to get to with the motor in the sled.vMaxed Out said:

Thanks I was just going to get a set of RSI bars. The stock bars have a 4 inch rise to them. The RSI bars are flat with a little angle. Then get a 6 inch riser and it would be around 2 inches over stock. Plus I don't like the sweeping bend on the stockers. I like a straighter bend.
