I have a 95 600 and I'm wondering about the size difference if any from the hood on my twin to the hood on the 4 cyl. I like the looks of that one on the 4 cyl. and I'd like to get one if it would fit. haven't seen a vmax4 around here in awhile. thanks

V4 hood is much bigger
i think the width is close, but i know the v4 hood is a lot longer. when i swapped hoods on my v4, i set it on the 600 (which also had the hood off at the time) and it had to another 6 inches longer..

I know someone who cut a vmax4 hood and put it on a 96 xt looked pretty good, i think he had to do some minor fiberglass work as the front to blend the nose cone where he cut it though.
