I have a 2001 SRX with a front wide kit and Viper shocks installed. The rear skid is a Viper skid with Ohlins. My question is , how do I go about setting the shocks to the proper setting? The Viper front shocks are new take offs from a 2004 and the rear Ohlins are out of the box new.
you have to ride it

Ride It
I should have mentioned that I did this last season and rode it as is, Just wondering how to make the adjustments in the proper way.

How much do you weigh? Were you able to get the transfer rod gap equal? What shims are you running in the transfer rods?

how did you mount the front VIper shocks?? i cant find any brackets???
what settings do you have , front comp. only? rear , rebound ? . in the rear you use as little rebound that you can so it wont buck you off . but you will add more as the trails get worse . play with the settings and see how it responds . i had my front ohlins revalved as the comp . was too harsh too much rebound will make it pac up , and loose travel

brackets
I got mine from BETHEVIPER. I believe he is on this forum. To be honest i do not know where the settings are at this time. I weigh in at about 220 in gear.
I just finished going over the Viper and I am about to pull the SRX suspension out and check for worn parts. I want to get the settings close this time before I put it back in.
