What skid is that. Is it a 136 stretched to 144 from a viper? And is the front end srx or viper? Been researching long travel but would prefer the 144 like yours. Any pros or cons on that setup from stock srx?

The Boss seat at this time was just sitting on the tunnel. I since have added a Nitro tail light and properly installed the seat. Most of my focus recently has been to lighten the sled up as much as possible.
I see that your 01 SRX has the black front bumper too. A sure sign thats shes met at least one tree in her life time.

The front end has Viper shocks + mountain performance trailing arms + radius rods[43" ski stance]
The skid started as the stock 2002 SRX skid then I did the following:
-136" venture rails stretched with mountain performance 3.4" extension/8" rear wheel adapters
-mountain performance light weight "H" arm
-titanium X shafts
-extra wheels-oversize
-bender adjustable transfer rods
-updated Viper shocks
-rear mounts are stock Mountain Viper shocks
- the complete 144" skid weighs 69lbs with all the wheels[approx 60lbs with only stock amount of wheels]... about the same as the stock 121" weghed without the extra wheels
The sled rides great and handles suprisingly well, but has lost that "Slot Car" handling it had as a 121"

Its a 2002 with the DCS. The front bumper did have a little rash but I painted it Black with bumper paint as I like it better black + it matches the rear as well.

Love this sled! Just ordered the Boss seat for my Viper as well. I'm still at 121" and am wondering if I'm going to have room behind the seat to mount the tail light.

I just went and measured.
With the seat properly installed.
-from the seat base hard surface to the end on the standard tunnel = 2.5"
[the seats rear soft net pouch extends a little further but should not be a problem]
- initiallly I had a Nitro rear tail lite and bracket installed[bare no cover] + it fit within the stock tunnel but I liked the more finished look of the complete Nitro tail light and complete cover but it is much longer + now extends on to the tunnel extension

sled looks bad a$$!! did the seat change the handling of the sled, ie. top heavy, or wants to throw you off? really want that seat but dont wanna lose that SRX feel.
