Resto Mod 76 SRX Now TURBO

I have never in my life thought I would ever hear this statement "I upgraded the rear suspension to a 01 srx"

looks like fun

that thing is just amazing :) and I always thought the short travel skids werent that bad. way smoother than one of those silly m-10 skids ;) great project and it sounds amazing!

Man this looks like fun what kind of time frame.....to get it all together. How much chopping to get the 700 in there?

actually the 700 graphded in quiet easily the turbo took a bit more work, and with the 700 and the srx skid frame it was a decent ride, its got a short travel skid and has become stickly radar or drag now.

If you keep the exhaust valves closed, you should see a nice power gain with the turbo. Your shift rpm will be lower a bit.

How are you getting the fuel pressure up?

Actually that shot is an old shot from early last year . I did lock down and seal exhaust valves.I am controlling the fuel pressure with an electric fuel pump and used fixed resistors to step the pressure to what works best. I'll try and put in a more current shot.

Very cool project. I'm working on a turbo setup for my mountain max, it was originally built for a Viper. What kind of turbo have you got on this machine? what are you doing for extra fuel? power-jets?

Fixed resistors? For controlling voltage to pump?
