I know the hook-up/connector plugs are different. They are not interchangable.

Tony Jaydaniels is correct.. The 2000 ignition is the bastard of the bunch.. Will not work with any other year..

HERE IS WHY I QUESTION THIS. I BOUGHT A STOCK RACE BOX FOR MY 2000 SRX, BUT IT WAS ON A 2001 SRX. WILL IT PLUG IN. I WAS TOLD THE 2000 SRX RACE BOX WON,T PLUG IN TO A 2001 SRX. BUT THE 2001 SRX RACE BOX WILL PLUG IN TO A 2000. just have to wait and see. ANYBODY. 3:16 (yammie tony)

HARNESS RACER, THIS BOX WAS REPROGRAMED FOR A STOCKER. ITS NOT A HIGH RPM BOX. I DON,T WANT TO SAY SPEC ON IT, MY CONCERN IS HOPEING I CAN GET IT ON MY 2000. LIKE I POSTED IT WAS USED ON A 2001. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Why not graft the 2001 SRX CDI plugs[from a doner wiring harness - you could even leave the stock plugs in place], onto a 2000 SRX, then you can plug + play the 2001, 2002 SRX boxes + the 2002/2003 Viper boxes.
This would not be too difficult ,this summer I made a complete wiring harness for my 911, it just takes a bit of time to do it right.

3:16 was that race box what you thought it was, i saw a post in the classifieds that seemed like it wasn't what you thought, or maybe that was unrelated to this

I ran the sled this weekend and it seemed fine. Whan you start it the dcs light does not flash anymore. I put on 90 miles with it.
Tony, Have you tried the 2000 race box yet and did it help any?

GUYS, I HAVE FOUND TWO SRX RACE BOXES SINSE I POSTED THIS. FIRST ONE IS A STOCK REPROGRAMED BOX FOR THE 2001 SRX. SECOND ONE I GOT WAS FROM MADZX2 THAT IS FOR A 2000. IT WAS REPROGRAMED BY BENDER, BUT IS I BELIEVE A HIGH RPM RACE BOX. ALL HAVE TO BE TESTED. 3:16 (yammie tony)
