Best riding boots

I need some new boots this year and was wondering what others feel are the best boots? Looking for something light but needs to be very warm.

Im looking for some new ones also. Thinking about the FXR boots, but everyone seems to love the Klim boots, but they are not cheap. Klim Adrenalines are around 170 and the Radiums are like 240, ouch!
 
These look like last years model for 139.99 Klim
E-bay has them for 139 also the Radium was 250 on e-bay.

I have Baffin boots also and there great!I have never had cold feet plus they have been very durable over the last 6-7 years of riding.

Yep, mine are still good after a ton of riding.This year I'm going to replace the liners as they are getting smashed down and aren't as warm as they used to be.40 bucks for liners which is alot cheaper than new boots.
 
I ride with a pair of CKX Iceland boots they keep my feet warm and dry. I think they are rated at -85C or -118F. I like them they are a stiff boot. Just my 2 cents.
 
It would depend on the type of riding you do.
I ride strickly mountains. I wear snowboard boots
they are warm and light, but I would not like to walk very far in them
But who would want to walk anywhere in 10 to 12 feet of snow.
 
I'm using my hunting boots I had before I bought my sled and would buy them again now if I had too.

They are Irish Setter and have Goretex with 800 gram of Thinsulate. I got them one size bigger so I can wear thicker socks if I had too. Been sledding in -30C and I haven't needed more then my usual wool socks. Even walked in freezing water at the fishing shack on the river and they keep me warm and dry.

Klim Yamaha boots seems well made too but make note they have 600gram of insulation. Which is twice what most other ridding boot have but still. Irish Setter have some boots with 2000 gram of Thinsulate...imagine!
 
I went and tried on the Klim boots, they are to narrow for my foot and the sales lady said they don't come in various widths? So I went to other local dealers and most only sold Castle which I didn't like so I went to Scheels and tried on some of their hunting and Ice fishing boots. I really liked the Lacrosse Ice fishing boots they had. They fit well and should keep my feet warm and dry. I will take them back if they don't. They have the reflective liner with I think 800 grams of thinsulate. The salesman said not all thinsulate is created equal... I noticed some boots with 1200 gram yet he said this was the best and warmest boot they had with only 800?
The dealers around here have a limited selection of boots. No one had the trukke's. Some said they could order the boots but, if they didn't fit or I didn't like them there was a 25% restocking fee. I found that each brand the size ran different, so I wanted something I could try on and make sure my fat foot isn't cramed in.

Northern outfitters is all I wear, They are really bulky but they are great in ice cold water. Well worth the 400$ Up here in The big land you need warmth!
