Hey guys I have a ? for you all. Being the proud owner of 02 srx 700 I plan on running some aggressive clutching. That being said for now I plan on running the stock track .92 I think, and I plan on studding it. I will also be using some transfer rods and Im wondering what you guys think is a good number of studs to run? Would just 96 studs hook up pretty good? thanks

I wouldn't run any less than 120 or you will start seeing stud pull out fairly frequently. I would either run 120 or 144. You are much safer keeping all of the studs down the center belt of the track but if you are really craving more performance, you can run them on the outside. That being said, the life of your track is going to decrease by studding on the outside belts.

ok so run about 144 studs down the middle what height stud would you suggest for a stock track?

I wouldn't go any higher than 1.175 in terms of height and that will give you over .500" of penetration.
