Dont no to many guys that would TORQUE those!!!!!I mean they go on with a allen key but i quess you could put a TORQUE WRENCH on them if you had the pipes off!!!!

Sorry gary could not resist.lol just tight to tight they are a bugger to come loose the next time. When it hurts your hand with a allen key its tight enough!!!!!!!

Sorry dudes,,, I was putting a sled together... Yes,, I use a 4 mm allen wrench on a 3/8 socket thingy and use torque wrenches... Doesn't everyone???? I ALSO use NEW GASKETS.... I suppose if you want to crush an already crushed steel gasket,, you could,,, but you couldn't use the torque specs.... It would take JUST SO MUCH MORE to crush and reseal an already crushed gasket..... I DONT SEE the sense in trying to use a gasket TWICE!!!! Thats NOT WHAT they are made for... ALTHOUGH it MAY WORK FINE on YOUR SLED,,, I DON'T DO IT!!!!! MY POWERVALVES WERE HORRIBLE!!!!! I put them in HYDROSEAL and they came out like NEW!!!! It DID NOT HARM the anodizing ( plastic coating).....

ON A HEMISPHERICAL HEADED COMBUSTION CHAMBER,,,, indexing the sprak plugs DOES NOT make a difference!!! Think about it?????

I though it was the oil seal ring that does most of the sealing. You really think the metal gasket actually crushes?

Two of mine where leaking this year. Change all the o rings last year except the oil seal (forgot). I was planning just to change these as I don't see allot of guys here changing the metal gaskets when cleaning their pv's. Unless I'm wrong?

No that one doesnt usally need it,,,when a PV is weaping oil it's usally part number #20 that needs replacing and will fix the leak, i my self also like doing 27 and 31 wile in there.

Yeah #20 is the oil seal I was talking about. If the local dealer has the metal gasket I'll change them too. If not to bad.
