Hey guys just found out on the SRX I bought and rebuilt has bored carbs. They were bored out to 35mm. Guess I was just wondering what should jetting be with bored carbs and bender cold air kit.

Also is there much of a performance gain with the bored carbs?

Are they straight bored or taper bored???

I would start out with 152.5's to be on the safe side. You can always go down if running rich. Check your plugs on wide open runs.

There is really no performance gain to speak of. Maybe just a few HP 2-3. You wont feel the difference vs stock carbs.

I would run the stock carbs if it were my sled

Thats crazy why even mess with them if thats all you get?

Nope the porting is stock. Does not mean that it didnt have ported cylinders at one time. I already have a set of stock ones one the way going to give these a try first.
