I have only been sledding for 2 years. How many miles are you guys getting out of your tracks? I know some of you are hot rodders, but what do you think is a good average track life on a 94 Vmax 500? I have 5200 miles on the Vmax 500 sled and I am a little worried about how far it will go. I'm sure this will stir up some good conversations. I am looking forward to our 4 day trip to the UP in January and I sure don't want it to break down on me. Last year it was 20 below every day.....

It all varies to be honest, to find out you will need to give it a good look over.
Lift it up in the air and rotate the track, i like to look at it near the rear wheels so you can get a good look for cracks and such, if you see the kevlar bars or have any tears in the belt it may be time or atleast getting close. Some cracks and such are normal just so they are not really deep and down to the bars

On that sled it could go 10K or more if it wasn't mistreated. Like mentioned above, just check it over.
