Vmax sx hand warmers?

my 97 vmax 700, doesnt seem to have working hand warmers. i bought it this way. the thumb warmer works well...it almost burns my thumb. im thinking the handwarmers may have shorted out some how. i remember the first time i fired it up i felt a tingle in my palm. being an apprientice electrician i know what a electrical shock feels like lol. any ideas of where to start troubleshooting?

just buy new grips , there not hard to install....Mine went out on my sx also.. New grips and the work like new

ok thats easy...where the challange...lol..should i get oem...i hear there the best....are they pricey?

get them oem it's the only way to go. I paid abot $75 canadian at the dealer.
