A few sleds that I have looked at he seat covers are ripped-Some small and I could live with for a bit and some quite large. Can you buy new covers?

I had a rip on my Viper seat that was below the tail light and about 1 inch above the back of the tunnel. I had a auto upholstery shop repair it and it turned out nice. They just stretched the cover back under the seat and re-stapled and glued it.
what would u do for a larger rip across the top or something?

I had a 1" rip right on top of the seat. I went to an upholstry shop and they fixed it with some sort of goo. You have to look hard to notice it and it's lasted 3 years so far. It was $35.
Check out scottys sled shed. They are making and fiixing all sorts of seat covers. Great workmanship and prices. My viper seat had the classic viper rear seam blowout and they put a whole new top on it. Looks factory and way cheaper than a new cover. I think his material is actually better.

I sew up the rips by hand with the cover still attached to the seat and then paint liquid electrical tape over them. Lasts forever. I fixed two rips over 10" long each at the beginning of the 2003 winter and they are still perfect.

The spot under the tail light, just above the tunnel is very common on alot of Vipers. The machine I just bought is ripped in the same area, almost as wide as the seat. I have not decided what to do yet. I may take the seat off and have it fixed, my only fear being that it rips again, then I have the same issue.
