just waundering if anyone has had any experiance adding one of these ? and do they work well ?

I haven't had any personal experience, but I'd stay away from them. Apparently they have a tendency to stick wide open. And also I've heard stories of people going for the brakes in a panic situation and grabbing a handfull of throttle instead.

I made one for my sled and it got me into more trouble than it got me out of. My friened was unloading it off the tailer one ride and grabbed the brake to easily drop off the trailer. Well...he grabbed the left throtle and launched my sled into his tailgate of a 2week old Dodge truck.

i had one on my last 2 sleds and REALLY like it for off trail riding
I think most left throttles have a safety pin to keep from accidents

DO NOT USE GUANTLETS WITH A LEFTY found out the hard way they don't play well together

I've run one for several years now. They work great for a lot of things, but the risk of grabbing it instead of the brake is alway there. All you need for a lockout pin is to drill a hole a put a push button keeper pin in it. There are a number of places that sell these pins. I have a pin, but have never drilled the hole to use it.
