I did some fishing on hillock, it flows into or out of dryberry. Also Daniels, going towards Dryden. I am from Kenora, I moved to WPG 5 yrs ago. I do all my sleding in and around Lake of the woods.

Know the area well, did a little partying on Hillock lake. Didnt think that lake had many fish if any. Its a very clear lake. We may have to hook up and do a ride and fish this winter...

Yesss, I have done my fair share of camping (drinking) on hillock, and many of the lakes around. BIG trout in the lake, also in the lakes near as well. What I am looking for is a lake with rainbow around that area. We will get out for a ride for sure. Is Busters open in V-bay in the winter? I built a cottage for people in Quibel. north of v-bay.

I am not sure about Busters being open, havnt been that way for a bit. You work construction? I have built a few cottages on L of W also renovated lots. I like working out there and staying on the islands... Throw a rig out go work and go check the rod, love doing that all day long...lol... Is there any snow out there yet???

Beside our fishing shack is my 2000 SRX 700, Father's 2006 Venture 600 and friend of the family 2005 RS Venture.
Right on the shore of the Ottawa river. You can't see our fishing hole and lines but they're in place.

Busters was closed pretty well all last winter..don't know what they are going to do this winter.

Northern Ont always wants more people to come in the winter, but they have closed all the places to go. I loved going to Wiley point, Oak Isl.
We could try for Kenora- Westhawk for the Beaver days, last year there had to be about 200+ sleds radar runs too.

I am up for that ride, I ride all over Eastern Manitoba, spend alot of time in the Lac Du Bonnett area...Man, I got to learn how to post pics on here... Nice looking area and shack, Phatc... and of course the sleds rule...
I just heard Busters in Vermilion Bay is planning on being open weekends thru the Winter...but I would still call them to confirm if you are planning a trip. The Shell station next door is convenient for fueling and snacks as well!

Thanks for the compliments lakeofthewoodsrider and Cam/ Viper adict. The land is big and passed down in the family. You can't see it but my father has his trailer on the water front down the hill, other side of the tree. What you can see is my boat lift and dock pulled on land for the winter. I can't complain as he doesn't charge me rent to have this or my shed on his land.
