I am installing the hartman relocation kit in my sled to make it 136
trying to figure out what this means?

The adjustable transfer rods on the Viper have adjustment grooves that allow you to match both sides. I am guessing that this is what is meant by rings.
I would skip this step if your rods are the non-adjustable type.

Any one know if Viper and SXR transfer rods are different? as in longer in length?
- SXR came with 8CR rods which are 310.5 mm from center of eye to tip, and 200 mm from center of eye to ridge.
- Viper came with 8EK rods which are 303.5 mm center of eye to tip, and 155 mm from center of eye to center of threaded adjustment area which is 7.5 mm wide.
