Twin cylinder oil pumps

I suspect that the oil pump on my 97 600 twin has stb. Are the 94-99 twin oil pumps interchangable? The fiche says that almost every year has a different part number. Would like a 98+ pump but are impossible to find or as much as new. Lots of 95-96 available but will they work properly?

A 97 thru 99 twin pump will work,i would think a 95-96 would too but not 100% on flow specs,but you need to stick with a 600,a 500 had different flow property's
