got a guy here that wants to run a 1.25" ripsaw with 96 studs down the middle on his 98 srx, I did a search and some say you can run it and others say you cant. He does not want to do anything to the clutching, gearing or drivers just bolt on and go. Are you guys running them studded with the 9 tooth drivers having issues or not? thanks.

measure you gap at the front heat exchanger and see what you have, then add the ripsaw track and studs to that number. get him a price on the time and labor to change heat xchanger and engine rebuild as well. You need to make changes to the drivers to make it work.

If you ride trails that are totally flat you might get away with it.But otherwise you need to change to 8t drivers.Or you can install a iceripper track and not have to change anything.
