Heated sheild on an 02 viper (non ER)

I use the handlebar warmers as my power source that way I can regulate the amount of power sent to my shield with the switch but some just plug directly into the light!
 
Easiest way is to just wire into the headlight wiring. I still have to get home from school one weekend and do that, thanks for reminding me!
 
Blue wire from the brake light switch is what I used, then grounded it to the bolt that mounts the air cleaner housing.
