Engine Guys come in please...

Well got it apart, the crank, rods, and bearings all look good. Now for the bad, Dooman is going to need all 3 cyl's and pistons with rings, so basically a new top end. We are going to send the head out to see if its good or not but theres no marks on the domes and it seems flat but going to send it out to the machine shop and make sure.

I will keep you guys posted on the rebuild, hopefully we can order parts today and have them here by next week so we can ride the following weekend.
 
If the head turns out to need work i would just hunt for a good use one that way you'll be into it cheaper and you'll have your pretty red paint back..
 
I have a head.It has a couple minor nicks in one of the domes.Came off a good running sx 700.Id sell it cheap...40.00 + shipping.
