My 95 VMax 600 has two out of three head gaskets, pair of PSI pipes, boyseen reeds, and all else stock. Can someone please help me out onm the jetting, I am not sure what to have since owners manuals are conflicting eachother.

The reeds say to go up two main sizes, Bruce from PSI says go down two sizes for the pipes. Does this mean they cancel eachother out? If so, then what jet should I need just for the gasket mod?

Thanks in advance for the help guys.

Did you buy the sled this way or did you build it over the summer? Sometimes when you put in aftermarket reeds the directions states to jet down or up although it is stated I have found inthe past that sometimes it is not necessary to change the jetting, they may state to change the jetting as a precaution of liability. Your plugs will tell you what the motor likes with the mods that you have done.
The '95 v-max came from the factory with a thinner headgasket than the '96's and I changed out to the '95 gasket and had no problem.
With the pipes it all depends on the sonic wave and the design of the pipe. I would take it for an easy riding short test run then check the plugs, take it for another ride and ride it a little harder and check the plugs again, then do a WFO run with a throttle chop and re-check to make sure that you won't have problems. If you don't know how to read your plugs black is rich and pure white is lean, the color that you are looking for is about a cocoa colored brown to a litle bit darker depending on how cold it is out when you test. If it is warm out when you test(around freezing) you will want the plugs to be on the darker side of color as if you go for a ride when it is below 0*F that you wont incur any motor damage as your jetting gets leaner as the air temp gets colder. Hope that I didn't confuse you any more than you already are. T
I understand that you are being cautious and dont want to wreck you sled.
