Hey I have a 2002 Viper with Bender tripple pipes, Bender jet kit, Bender opti-cool head gasket and rear heat exchanger, stock track with 168 studs and stock gearing. My clutches are stock but i have a aftermarket helix that was on the sled when i bought it it says 54/46 on it, not shure if i can still use it or not. I was wondering what wieghts and springs i should get and if i need any gearing? I ride lots of trails and am an agressive rider, but do hit up lakes and the gun occasionly? Any help would be awsome. Thanks

8dn-10's w/approx 5g tip, 2.4g inner, w/hauck orange primary spring, w/51/45 helix and green spring @ 60-70 deg. that's what i was given from hauck in their "venom kit".

I think you can get that 54/46 Helix to work.
- have always liked 53/47[very close to yours] on my Yamaha tripples with the OEM secondary and a Yamaha Green secondary spring at 70 degree wrap.
- have always used adjustable weights in the primary to dial them in, weight favoring the tips
- for great acceleration + descent top speed, have had good luck with 21/38[1.80 : 1] or 22/38[1.72 : 1]for gearing for the 8800RPM or so your pipes are supposed to run at. [thats 104-110 mph top end without overdrive]

Its always worked for me! JM.02c

I have the same mods as you but with a 21tooth top gear, still doing clutch work, bender says our peak rpm with there tripple pipes are 8700rpm.
